▶ VIEW FIELDWORK TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Liability & Physical Safety
• Voluntary Participation: "I acknowledge that fieldwork involves physical activity, including walking on uneven terrain and exposure to varying weather conditions. My participation is voluntary and at my own risk."
• Medical Fitness: "I confirm that I am medically fit for field immersion. I am responsible for carrying any personal medications and disclose that the Lab is not a medical provider."
• Assumption of Risk: "Field Literacy Lab (FLL) and its affiliates are not liable for any personal injury, loss of property, or accidents occurring during transit to or during the fieldwork in Honnavar."
2. Data Ownership & Intellectual Property (IP)
• Institutional Ownership: "All raw data, including spatial layers, interview transcripts, and photographs collected during the stream, are the property of Field Literacy Lab. I may use these for academic purposes only with prior written consent."
• FVAR Attribution: "While the student is credited as a researcher, the final Field Verified Analysis Report (FVAR) remains the intellectual product of the Lab."
3. Ethical Conduct & Community Relations
• Informed Consent: "I agree to follow the 'Ethnographic Protocol': I will not record interviews or take photographs of individuals without their explicit informed consent."
• Cultural Sensitivity: "I agree to maintain the highest standards of decorum and respect toward local communities and their customs. Any behavior deemed disrespectful by the Lab may lead to immediate disqualification."
• Non-Interference: "I will observe and document but will not make promises on behalf of the Lab or interfere with local administrative or political processes."
4. Confidentiality & Digital Security
• Source Protection: "I agree to protect the anonymity of community informants where requested. I will not share sensitive field coordinates or interview details on personal social media without authorization."
• Digital Assets: "I will use the provided digital mapping tools credentials solely for the designated research and will not share these credentials with third parties."
5. Administrative & Financial
• Refund Policy: I understand that the enrolment fee is non-refundable once the digital stream (Stage 1) is accessed, as the intellectual resources are immediately made available.
• I further understand that FLL may cancel the Field Immersion Program at any stage without assigning any reason or giving prior notice, in which case the course fee paid, or for remaining phase of the course, will be returned to the account from which the payment is made.
• Certification Criteria: Issuance of the 'Field Literacy Participation Certificate' is strictly contingent upon the completion of all 3 Stages and the submission of a verified FVAR within the stipulated deadline.
